Another year goes by and I have yet to write anything. So here we are, doing another recap of what has been going on for the last year or so. Do not worry, it is mostly pictures. Be warned, there is more personal things this time around.

| Looking out onto Mt. Hood from Mt. St. Helens |
The last time I did this I said "I know this is a bit abnormal." That was not true, as this is becoming seemingly more normal. Maybe I will do better next year, but I make no promises. So here is a (mostly) chronological telling of what went on this year.
I tried to train for a marathon
 |
| A dusting of snow at Cougar Mountain |
 |
| Mt. Rainier as seen from West Tiger 2 |
Lots of miles with some lovely views. I ended up getting hurt, spending a couple weeks off, and downgrading to the half marathon. I am not sure that speedy marathon training is for me.

Shockingly, I did win the half marathon.
I got a lot of snow time

| Looking down from Granite Mountain. |
Some good friends moved to Seattle for the summer! We took full advantage by some good mountain time. We summited Mount. St. Helens.
 |
| Making our way up to St. Helens |
Also gave Mt. Adams a try.
 |
| On the way up to Mt. Adams |
We were exhausted when we got to the lunch counter, so we headed home instead of summitting.
I got into graduate school!
I got back into UC Santa Cruz to do a M.S. I found out at the Tiger Mountain eastern trailhead after going on a ride on my Santa Cruz mountain bike. It felt very fitting.
 |
| I did not find out in the Chiluly Gallery, I just thought this was a nice very Seattle picture. |
I went on a bike tour for the first time
I rode from North Bend to Salmon Le Sac! The ride was good, hanging out at Salmon Le Sac on 4th of July weekend was less so.
 |
| Off of the Palouse to Cascade Trail. |
I got engaged!
 |
| Crazy stuff!!!! |
Got some good final Washington mountain time
 |
| Heading up to Vesper Peak |
 |
| Final trip to the North Cascades |
I tried to go bike touring again
It was great, until I almost got hit by a truck
 |
| My beautiful good weather bottle which I ended up running over and popping. |
 |
| Looking back on the Oregon Coast |
Moved back to the Bay Area and started graduate school
Went on a backpacking trip to the Desolation Wilderness with my brothers.
 |
| Looking out onto Echo Lakes |
I have also been able to enjoy some scenic bike commuting as well.

|
| A familiar view, at least to me. |
And that is my 2025! See y'all in 2026, maybe with more writing.
